Hybrid Reality at Test Bed Lower Saxony

Am 18. May 2022 veröffentlicht

Together with other companies the German Aerospace Center shows the integration of real world elements into simulation environments.

A realistic traffic situation is generated by the simulator running on the computing center of the Test Bed Lower Saxony. The simulation takes into account the real traffic on the exhibition grounds in Hanover and adapts the behavior of the simulated vehicles to the actions of the real vehicles. This makes the Hanover Fairground to a perfect location for testing and validating future mobility concepts. Especially the urban style of the Fairground and the absence of traffic infrastructure and road markings allow the creation of arbitrary mobility scenarios.
